Art on the Parkway
A juried open call organized by the Association for Public Art (aPA) in partnership with the Parkway Council and Philadelphia Parks & Recreation (PPR). It invites artists, designers, and other creatives to propose a temporary public art installation in Maja Park on Philadelphiaâs Benjamin Franklin Parkway.

People's Media Fund's (PMF) Local Filmmaker Open Call supports filmmakers across the Greater Philadelphia region with the development of their films and skills to further hone their craft. The grant includes a 12-month cohort that aims to serve as an incubator for local filmmakers to work on their films while gaining industry knowledge and building their networks.
Giving Circle of Womenâs Connection Philadelphia
The Giving Circle of Womenâs Connection Philadelphiaâs focus for 2026 is Food Insecurity. Eligible organizations will be nonprofits with a significant commitment to improving access to affordable, healthy food for women and their families in Philadelphia. They will include those offering a range of services, such as food banks, community gardens, meal programs, excess food collection and distribution, and nutrition education.
Philadelphia Student Mediamaker Fund
Awards grants to Philadelphia area student media makers who want to produce a digital video or audio project. Undergraduate Student Award & Makers affiliated with a media-making training institution - awards up to $1,000. Graduate Student Award - awards up to $1,500 The Philadelphia Student Mediamaker Fund, a program of Scribe Video Center, is made possible with support from the Independence Public Media Foundation.
Watershed Artist Residency
Each resident will span three months and will include time for independent research, open access & public hours at The Water Shed, and community-facing programs. Artists may apply individually or as part of a collaborative team.
Aperture On Sight
A twenty-lesson curriculum spanning photographic techniques and visual literacy. Intended to guide educators and students through the creation of a body of photographic work shaped by looking at photographs.
The Organizing Center Skill Building Workshops
Designed to be interactive â inviting participants to share challenges and practice skills with one another. These workshops are for new and seasoned organizers actively building base, working in coalition, or exploring how to make base and coalition building part of their work.
Working Films Impact Kickstart
Supports underrepresented filmmakers with resources, strategic goals for impact, and specific plans to engage future partners and audiences in meaningful ways. Impact Kickstart was created to fill a gap in support for the impact campaigns of underrepresented filmmakers and stories.

Creative Philadelphia supports artists and cultural organizations in Philadelphia by providing and promoting artist opportunities and resources year-round. Artists can search for funding and work while arts and cultural organizations can also benefit from searching this list for opportunities.
Breaking Through the Lens Action Grant
$10,000 Action Grant is open to Directors worldwide who identify as women or apart of the LGBTQIA+ community with a feature film in late-stage development.
W. Eugene Smith Grant
Designed to encourage and support visual storytellers whose photographic work renews the tradition of W. Eugene Smithâs dedicated compassion. Special consideration will be given to work that promotes social change, that embraces new technologies and image distribution, and that seeks to integrate the tradition of photography and social change with contemporary practice.
SeriesFest x Shondaland Women Directing Mentorship
A competition designed to discover aspiring female directors with unique voices and provide a launchpad for their careers. Founded in 2019, The Women Directing Mentorship is anchored by the prestigious opportunity to shadow a director on an episode of a Shondaland original series.
Stowe Story Labs Curated Short Film Production Grant Program
This is a $50,000 curated grant to support the production of a narrative short film with a total run time of approximately 10 minutes. Mentoring will be available to support the winning project through all aspects of its development and production.
